The
Carel Corporation provides Environmental Compliance services for an
industrial manufacturing facility in Texas. Services include
required modifications to the industrial and hazardous waste permit,
an Affected Property Assessment Report (APAR), and routine
statistical analysis and reporting of groundwater data.
The APAR was performed on a
former industrial waste disposal area in response to a confirmed
groundwater impact. The project involved evaluation of
historic site operations, site geology and hydrogeology,
installation of temporary monitor wells, aquifer tests, a field
receptor survey, groundwater resource classification, identification
of potential exposure pathways and an environmental media
assessment. The Carel Corporation demonstrated that the
groundwater contaminant concentrations were limited to a confined
area and did not exceed the assessment level. No further
response actions were recommended.
